  • Chip Howorth

    FOUNDER

    Chip is a founder and the manager of Adapt Development Company. Chip is a long-time Nashville resident and graduate of the University of Mississippi, where he earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. After three years with a large A/E design firm in Nashville, he attended the University of Tennessee College of Law and earned his Juris Doctor in 2010 and later practiced with a Nashville construction litigation firm. His engineering, legal, and construction litigation experience has supported Adapt’s projects. 

    Chip is very active in the Nashville community as he is very involved with the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, Second Harvest Food Bank of Nashville, Phoenix Club of Nashville, the Nashville Dolphins and Montgomery Bell Academy. 

  • Ryan Moses

    FOUNDER

    In addition to founding Adapt Development Company, Ryan currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of Best Brands Inc., a wholesale beverage alcohol distribution and import company in Tennessee. A Nashville native, Ryan graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Management and Finance from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. He serves on the board of the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America, chairs its finance committee, and is past president of the Council for Leadership and Development.

  • Jamie Pfeffer

    FOUNDER

    Jamie is the CEO and co-founder of Invent Communities Inc. and has more than 13 years of experience as an architect and real estate developer. Jamie is a founding principal and architect at Pfeffer Torode, where he leads an interdisciplinary team of architects, visual artists, and interior designers. The firm’s work integrates art and architecture through a contextual response to each site’s natural conditions. A Nashville native, Jamie is passionate about improving and restoring the neighborhood he calls home.
